Senisim Pasin
A country so rich with resource, so vibrate with beauty, yet plagued with such violence.
Senisim Pasin is a feature length documentary that examines the issue of violence against women in
Papua New Guinea. Filmed entirely in Tok Pisin, this film was not created for international consumption, but rather by and for the people of PNG. It seeks to show what life can be like when women and children
are cherished like the national treasures they were created to be.
The Papua New Guinea Tribal Foundation has driven this project and has already lined up nation-wide distribution with theaters across the country, with the largest television network in PNG, and will march
the film throughout the country on inflatable projection screens so that it may be seen by even the most
remote of villages.
Its been a tremendous honor to be involved with this project from its beginning and now well into the post process.
